1. BN 5000 / BN 6000 - As Pure As Possible

Characteristics:

  • Excellent shock resistance
  • High electrical resistivity
  • Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance
  • Excellent temperature shock resistance
  • Max. temperature to be used

    BN 5000:
    - 850° C in air
    - 1800°C under inert gas or vacuum

    BN 6000:
    - 850° C in air
    - > 2000°C under inert gas or vacuum
  • Easy machinability

Applications:

  • High temperatures insulators
  • Thermocouple tubes
  • Crucibles and nozzles for molten metals
  • Rollers and Formers for glass industry

Characteristics:

  • Extremely good thermal shock resistance
  • Easy to machine
  • Higher mechanical wear resistance than pure boron nitride
